Our Background

IRONWOOD was founded in 2016 by Kevin Reynolds, with the mission to support businesses in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of regulatory compliance. While regulatory agencies employ hundreds of professionals to enforce these laws, businesses are often left to decipher these intricate regulations on their own. Employers need an advocate and an advisor – especially during a crisis.

In the beginning, IRONWOOD specialized in DOT, OSHA, and HR consulting, but our company has evolved into a comprehensive solution for businesses at every level of operation. Our services have expanded to encompass Department of Defense (DOD) consulting, Operations consulting, and Brand Development, with new team members bringing diverse expertise from a wide range of industries.

While our main office is in The Woodlands, Texas, our consultants live and work all across the country – from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine. IRONWOOD has always utilized a remote business model which lets us find the best people possible for our team – whether they live in a 30-mile radius or a completely different time zone.

The inspiration behind the company name stems from the ironwood tree, which is renowned for producing some of the strongest and most resilient wood. These trees can withstand harsh climates and offer shelter to animals in the unforgiving desert heat. This perfectly symbolizes the foundation of our company’s approach to business. Like the ironwood tree, we remain steadfast and resolute in the face of challenges, ensuring that when the storm clears, we are still standing tall and doing our best to provide shelter to those in need. Our goal is to empower businesses with the same resilience as our namesake, providing them with the necessary support when faced with potential setbacks.

Kevin Reynolds is experienced in operations, finance, strategic marketing, business expansion, DOL, OSHA, and DOT regulatory compliance. After graduating from The University of Texas Red McCombs School of Business, he founded and ran his own business for 15 years. For the following 15 years, Kevin has been advising clients around the country in DOL, DOT, and OSHA regulatory compliance and crisis management.

Christine Beldner is the Vice President and Senior Human Resources Consultant for IRONWOOD Business Consulting, LLC. Christine’s passion is supporting small businesses with all aspects of business operations.
